Video marketing is one of the best ways to generate leads, grow sales, and grow your business. In this video, I’m going to show you why you need to get started with video marketing.

Hello, I’m, Uzair and thanks for joining. In this video, I’m going to talk about how to grow your business using video marketing. But before I do that, please don’t forget to subscribe and hit the bell notification button and you’ll be the first one to be notified when I upload similar videos just like this one. So let’s get started. I’m going to bring my notepad here so I can start making the bullet points. The first reason why you need video marketing is, video builds trust. It is the quickest, fastest, and the most economical way to build trust. We all know that people buy from people who they trust, just like you are listening to me right now, I have started that trust-building process so that you trust me for giving you this information for free. And then when you need something from me, hopefully, you will make a purchase and come to me for help rather than go to someone else.

The second reason is Google loves video. Not many people know, but YouTube is owned by Google and it is the second largest search engine after Google. So you can get a lot of traffic, a lot of eyeballs on your brand and your products or services by using YouTube as a great source of platform to generate new leads and customers. The third one is perfect or ideal for mobile on the smallest screen it is a lot easier to view a video rather than to read something from a website. And you know that the majority of the traffic on any website nowadays is from a mobile device or a smartphone.

So the video is perfect for the smaller devices. The third [fourth] one is video or increases conversions and sales. It is a proven fact that video converts more on a website or a page, compared to a website which hasn’t got a video on it. So if you would like to increase your lead generation conversion rates or increase sales on your eCommerce website, then I would highly recommend that you use videos. On our own website, we have a video on pretty much every page of the website. Every blog nowadays has got a video as well, because of this reason. It increases our conversion rates. So why wouldn’t you want to increase your conversion rates?

The next one is dwell time on your website. So what dwell time means is the time spent on a website or a webpage. Now if visitors to your website spend more time compared to your competitors, then Google and search engines will know straight away, that your content is engaging, interesting, and the visitors on your website are interacting with your content. So when someone plays a video, they will spend 30 seconds, one minute, or maybe more to watch that first bit of video and they’ve spent that bit of time on your website and that increases the time on site as well. Which is again, a great ranking indicator that your content is engaging and visitors aren’t just bouncing off your website as soon as they land on your web page or a landing page. So a video on a website increases the dwell time. You can also build targeted remarketing list.

 

The next point is build targeted remarketing. Now you’ve probably heard a lot of talk on building up an email marketing list, but building a remarketing list is as important as your email list and here’s why. Now with email marketing, the problem nowadays is we receive- all of us receive- far too many emails and the open rates are going down. Secondly, people also unsubscribe or can unsubscribe from an email list as well. But what you can do with building up your remarketing list is you can put anyone who has viewed a video either on your website, on the Internet, or on YouTube in your remarketing list, so you start building up that list and then you retarget to them with other video ads or video content or image ads on the Google Display Network. And this way, you keep pushing that person further down into your sales funnel and building up those touchpoints which you need for someone to convert. So it’s a great way, and it is one of the most economical ways to get your message in front of someone. And the last one is.

So what you can do is you can also repurpose this video into either text format, PDF or as an audio format as a podcast. So you don’t need to create new content, all you’re doing is repurposing that content and this allows you to promote your services or business in multiple formats across different channels. So some people prefer to read, some people prefer to watch and some prefer to view. So let me show you some stats as to what’s happening with my YouTube video marketing. I started recently and most of my views are being generated by free organic traffic. So here’s my dashboard for my YouTube Analytics and as you can see this is the last 28 days and I’m just going to go in here, go to last 28 days,

so I’ve got 82,533 minutes of watch time, which equates to around 57 days of people watching my videos, listening to my message and me being in front of them just like I’m in front of you right now. So that is completely on automation. I do the work once and then it just keeps on gaining more and more watch time as the days, weeks and months go by. And then I can see over here the average view duration, the views like all of these stats are hear where my audience is coming from, the agenda, the traffic sources. So as you can see, the suggested videos, 36% of my video views are coming from suggested videos. YouTube search 30%. I do a bit of advertising as well for remarketing. So it’s, that’s a fraction of it. And the other is 24%. So the majority on YouTube especially the suggested videos and the YouTube search is almost 66%, which is completely free and I don’t need to pay Google, all you do for getting my videos rank. So it does work. It does also require a fair bit of work, but you need to work hard unless otherwise, you won’t achieve anything. So I hope this gives you a bit of an insight as to why video marketing is so important for any size of a business and whether you sell services or products, I would highly recommend that you get started with your marketing right now.
