How To Shoot Professional-Quality Videos With Your Smartphone For Under £100

In this video I'm going to show you how you can create high-quality professional videos using your smartphone and equipment costing less than £100, keep watching. Hello I'm Uzair and thanks for joining in, most business owners struggle with creating high quality videos, they want to get started with video marketing and marketing with their business but don't have the budget or the resources to create professional quality videos.

The equipment which I'm going to show you in this video it's very affordable, lightweight and portable which literally takes minutes to set up and you can get started shooting your own videos either at home or in your office. Most modern smartphones has got HD quality video so the video or the picture quality is not a problem the problem is lighting and audio.

The kit which I've got here has been purchased from Amazon and has been bought for less than £100. I've got three pieces of kit, one is a very lightweight tripod, this is the lighting kit and that's the microphone for the smartphone. So let's get started with the tripod, the legs also open up quite high but I'm not going to open up and all you need is a little adapter for the smartphone to be clamped on it and this get screwed on the top of the tripod and there you have it the phone is now clamped onto the tripod so that the video is not very shaky and that's what you don't want, a bit shaky video so let's get this out of the way.

With this tripod you also get a remote control which is a bluetooth to start and stop the video function on your camera so that's also quite handy. Now let's start on the lighting kit, as you can see behind me we've got the bit soft boxes and the lights, you don't need any of that as they are quite expensive, but what we have in have in here are two soft boxes two large stands and a couple of light bulbs.

Let's take this out. That's my 1st light stand this opens up quite easily. Then the softbox box sits on the light stand. That's it. The softbox is set up all I need to do now is to put the light bulb in which is in the white box. Now these light bulbs are daylight balanced, so what that means is when you use the lights you won't get hot these are daylight balanced so they're very very good and all you need then is to put on the diffuser, now this is quite important as it softens the light and diffuses the light falling on you and all you do is the cover on your softbox and there you have it.

It's as simple as that, took me less than couple of minutes to set up this light stand. I'm not going to setup the other one because it's exactly the same way we set up the second a light box so if you wanted more lighting you can have two lights pointing at you at 45 degrees. Okay, okay now we move on to the microphone and which is just a bit of kit which is the VideoMic Me from Rode.

Rode are one of the best manufactures for any kind of microphone, it's one of my favourites as well so let's see what we have got in this little box, all you do is clip this on to your phone and now you've got your microphone and you can either set it up like that or if you are using your video with the camera facing towards you.

So there you have it creating high quality video is not as difficult as you think just with these very simple and inexpensive pieces of kit you can produce very high quality videos for your business, which you can put on your website social media or anywhere else you wish to use.
