It’s annoying and distressing when your Google Ads account gets suspended for suspicious payments. Elusive warnings such as “cannot verify billing info” make it trickier to resolve the issue. Then when you attempt to set up another Google Ads account, this will most likely be barred as well.
You have no luck sending appeals, as you still don’t get a definitive reason behind the ban. Your company and lifestyle depend on how successful your Google ad campaigns are. Thus, this isn’t a hold-up you can ignore.

Every account will work with My Client Centre (MCC). It doesn’t matter if you’re based in another country. We, as an agency, have clients from all over the world. We hardly ever get any Google Ads suspensions due to suspicious payments.
Google will deem the following as suspicious:
- If the client has used a payment card whose address doesn’t link to theirs
- The Google Ads account doesn’t link
- Their OOH isn’t the same as the billing address
Google will never communicate why it’s suspended your account. It will probably state this is down to suspicious payments, that there’s malware on your website or something like that. But your Google suspension has nothing to do with the MCC. It’s something different.
One of our client’s accounts got suspended a few years ago, but we appealed and got it back. So it can be the bots. They review it. They suspend it.
Ask them for a manual review – you should be able to get it back because you recovered it the first time around unless you did something or your client did something against Google’s policies.
