If you are an e-commerce business or website, Google Shopping Ads are one of the best ways to promote your products.

When you search for a product on Google, for example, a new TV or smartphone. You’re greeted with a number of ads at the top of the Google search page; text ads and shopping ads.

Text ads are those with text and a link to the website and shopping ads are the handy pictured icons at the top of the search page. If you hover your cursor over the shopping ad, it will give you more information about that product.

For example, how big the TV screen is or if it’s LED etc. The shopping ads will also contain a price for that product, which website it’s coming from and if the product has any reviews. So, as a customer, you’re getting a first-hand look at the product, even before clicking through to the website.

Google Shopping Ads work wonderfully well if your pricing for your products is competitive because users will look on Google and see the shopping ads and compare prices and reviews of all the products that are featured.
